Introductory Rifle Shooting Packages

Unfortunately, due to current circumstances involving coronavirus, we are not taking bookings for the Introductory Rifle Packages. New sessions  will be available in 2021. Please check back on our website for new dates later this year.

People in good standing of at least 11 years of age are able to shoot under special supervision. You will need to provide an official Photo ID (driver licence, passport, school/university ID,…) and sign a statutory declaration that you are not an excluded person under Queensland law. Before commencing shooting you will be required to watch a brief SSAA Brisbane Range Safety Video (approx. 3 min). You will also need to wear enclosed shoes, and ear and eye protection as directed. Shorts and t-shirt are OK, but we do not encourage the wearing of camouflage clothing at our club.

Master the basics of aiming, breathing, and trigger control. Rimfire rifles are comfortable and quiet to fire, allowing you to focus on developing your foundation skills. Your fee includes use of the club firearms, range fee, ammunition, hearing protection, targets, and coaching by an experienced club instructor. These introductory packages are only available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and are only available in the following options.
