26 (RF) - Sport Pistol - 2nd Sat 8.30am

General Information

Sport Pistol is shot on the 200m Pistol Range.

Sports Pistol a precision rimfire pistol competition conducted at 25M. The course of fire consists of slow-fire rounds (5 shots in 2.5 minutes) and a rapid-fire component (5 shots in 10 seconds), all from a single-handed position.

Targets

This is an ISSF style rimfire shooting match using paper targets.

Ammunition Required

55 shots of .22lr of your choice.

Maximum Attendance

The attendance limit for this competition is 20 competitors.

Unlicensed Members

Unlicensed SSAA Brisbane Pistol Section Members may attend this competition under the following conditions:

• They have been signed off as competent in the same firearm type (Rimfire). Competency must be displayed to the Shoot Captain when signing on.
• They attend the shoot with a licensed member who will act as their supervisor and provide the firearm to be used
• The licensed members is permitted to bring a maximum of 1 unlicensed guest;
