Our Try Shooting program is designed to give you a safe, structured, and enjoyable introduction to the sport—no firearms licence required. You’ll be guided step-by-step by experienced Range Officers, with all equipment, safety gear, and coaching provided.
Whether you're just looking for a new experience or considering getting licensed, Try Shooting is the perfect first step.

What is “Try Shooting”?
Try Shooting sessions allow beginners to:

Try Rifle Shooting

Rifle shooting is the most common entry point into the sport and is ideal for first-time participants.

You can start with low-recoil rimfire rifles (.22LR) or light centrefire rifles (.223)

After you've tried the .223 you could progress to long range centrefire (6.5 Creedmoor) for more distance and impact

Shoot paper and steel targets from 50m up to long-range distances
This is a controlled, precision-focused discipline that builds confidence quickly.
