Police & Service matches are held on the 200m Pistol Range.
This shoot offers an opportunity to take part in a widely inclusive competition environment which values the principles of law enforcement and service shooting. Matches are based on competition as part of historical training for defence and law enforcement, involving skills in safe and effective handling, with timed positional shooting. Matches use service-based equipment and are shot on paper targets at distances from 50m to 7m. Shoots are timed, include reloads and changing position within time limits. Skill in safe and effective handling is required for changing hand techniques and target-to-target drills. Positions include standing unsupported, left and right barricade, sit/kneel and prone.
The Rimfire match is a variation of the Centrefire match and is a cost-effective shoot to develop or improve your skills for the Centrefire match.
