Once a Cat H licensed member has passed the Level 1 Range Officer (L1RO) course, they can then attend the range for private practice. After 12 months of holding L1RO a member can bring guests with them.
The L1RO course is a short course (1.5 hrs), held in the upstairs club room, that details legal requirements, and club expectations to be considered when attending the range for personal practice, outside of regularly scheduled competition.
To attend this course, you must:
Firearms & ammunition are NOT required as this course is entirely classroom based and has no shooting component.
Rules for appropriate clothing and enclosed shoes do still apply as you will be on the site.
