General Information: The targets are placed on steel stands in banks of five and set at a variety of known distances, with the competitors having a certain amount of time to knock as many down as they can.

Targets: 40 Metalic Silhouette Targets. Chickens 200m  Pigs 300m Turkeys 385m Rams 500m.

Ammunition Required: The .308 Winchester has traditionally been the most popular calibre, though the development of lighter recoiling calibres with sufficient energy is becoming more common. The 7mm-08 Remington appears to meet the requirements of high energy and low recoil. it is recommended that you bring at least 50 shots. 

Range and Competition Fees: Range Fee $10.00 + Comp Fee $5.00 = $15.00

Booking Information (Annual Range Pass): When making a booking, if you have a SSAA Brisbane Annual Range Pass (ARP) you will need to apply the discount code "ARP" on the last page. This will discount the Range Fee ($10.00) from the total. For this to work you must be logged in.

Booking Cancellations: If you are unable to attend your shoot please contact the office 07 3395 0911 or email bookings@ssaabris.org.au during regular business hours (Wednesday - Friday 9am - 4pm) In the event of a booking cancellation, this will incur a $5.00 administration fee.
